SINCE 2005 – ISTITUTO SVIZZERO DI ROMA
The Swiss Institute in Rome (ISR) is a foundation created by the Swiss Confederation in 1947 with the task of promoting scientific and artistic exchange between Switzerland and Italy.

Since its founding, the Institute has been a destination for Swiss scholars and artists, and a point of reference for the artistic and scientific activities of Switzerland in Italy. With its two facilities in Rome and Milan, the Institute is the main cultural center of Switzerland in Italy, and encourages dialogue and exchange with the cultural players present in the territory thanks to diversified programming that attracts an increasingly numerous and qualified audience. The distinctive characteristic of the Institute has always been the coexistence of persons from different artistic and academic disciplines.
