IACCCA organised an in-depth debate on how the ecological challenges of our era influence artistic practices.

The symposium brought together high-profile professionals from the world of culture: artists, curators, scholars, creative producers and representatives of cultural organisations to discuss how art can play a role in imagining new ways of living in our present time.

Through this symposium, IACCCA aimed to take a closer look at the new forms of artistic practice that are being developed in the face of contemporary crucial issues such as the deterioration of our ecosystem, as well as to offer us an opportunity to broaden our ways of thinking and to debate on how we can act and integrate art into our environments.

The presentations were organised into two sessions followed by a moderated debate among panel members and a larger discussion on critical issues open to audience participation.
