Segment #1A, curated by Dr. Necmi Sönmez, is a continuation of the Segment exhibition. It focuses on the photography artist Ola Kolehmainen, an important member of the “Helsinki School”, and Manfred Mohr, one of the pioneers of computer-based art. In this exhibition model referred to as SPOT-ON, the intention is to create an intensified view of a selection of artists who are represented in the Borusan Collection. The SPOT-ON project is implemented to present these artists’ individual progress to the viewers and to introduce a different interpretation of the collection.
