The Louis Roederer Foundation, presided by Frédéric Rouzaud, was founded in 2011 to strengthen the philanthropic activity pursued by the Louis Roederer Champagne House. As a valued sponsor of the Bibliothèque nationale de France since 2003, Louis Roederer was awarded the title of “Major Patron of Culture and Arts” in 2010.

The Louis Roederer Foundation supports outstanding cultural actions undertaken by recognised institutions in France and abroad. It demonstrates a longstanding and deep commitment to the Bibliothèque nationale, the Réunion des musées nationaux – Grand Palais and the Jeu de Paume, in Paris. The Foundation is also committed to the French Academy – Villa Medici in Rome, and is a partner of Villa Albertine in the United States.

Through the Photography Research Grant to the Bibliothèque nationale de France, the Discovery Award at the Rencontres d’Arles photography festival, the Rising Star Award at the Semaine de la Critique of the Cannes Film Festival, the Revelation Prize at the Deauville American Film Festival, the Louis Roederer Foundation supports initiatives at the heart of its mission to nurture talented up-and-coming artists.

Furthering its commitment to the arts, the Louis Roederer Foundation is building its own collection of works by emerging and established artists and offers "carte blanche" collaborations across diverse artistic mediums.
