The Rabo Art Collection is celebrating its 35th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, we have created three beautiful books that together tell the story of our collection: "Unlocked."
In these books, you will see that our approach to collecting goes beyond mere acquisition. We use art as a means to narrate stories about life and our relationship to it. The artworks in our collection and the artists we collaborate with empower us to break free from conventional thought frameworks, allowing us to explore different perspectives and possibilities.
The first book reflects on the human condition—how we search for ourselves, navigate through life and love, and ultimately share a common humanity. The second book focuses on socially engaged artists who have a distinct vision for our society and how it could be different, perhaps even better. In the third part, you will read stories about artists for whom the concept takes center stage. They are brimming with ideas and constantly seek new forms to share them with us.
In turn, we are eager to share our collection because we believe that a story truly comes to life when it is told with passion and conviction. We collaborate with museums both domestically and internationally, lending our collection to them wholeheartedly.
