JOHANNES BRUS - THE INVISIBLE IN THE VISIBLE
The photographic work of artist Johannes Brus, born in 1942 in Gelsenkirchen, takes the viewer into another sphere: this is partly exotic-mystical, but sometimes also funny-bizarre. Brus distorts pictures of the real world through chemical and physical changes in the development processes, post-colouration, superimposition and mounting and thus opens a new cosmos to us.
